Samira is a Production Assistant for The Listening Booth. She is a podcast enthusiast, lover of all things Eastern European and an old soul. She graduated from Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications with a degree in Television-Radio-Film and Russian Language in May 2014. Since then, she has had assorted experience in recording and mixing sound for student short films and for the independent feature film titled “Sycamore” (2015.) Currently, she works as an Oral Historian for the Coney Island History Project, where she enjoys getting to know the stories of the wide variety of characters that live or work in the Coney Island area.
